Just as promised, Asus has announced the new Zenbook Infinity at Computex 13. Asus has used the new Gorilla Glass 3 which makes Zenbook Infinity much more scratch resistant than other laptops. Not only that but it allows Asus to make the Zenbook as thin as 15.5mm. According to the product manager, the laptops have been through different tests and they do manage to survive drops without cracking their display. In addition to Gorilla Glass 3, Zenbook Infinity also has backlit keyboard and a built-in touchscreen. There are no words on other specs as the device would be out later in Q4. All we know is that it has USB 3.0 ports, SD Card slots, micro HDMI port and Mini Display Port on it’s sides.
As the device is launching in Q4 this year, a lot more news is expected. Stay tuned to Engismo for more updates on the Asus Zenbook as they surface.
