Vizio Finally Introduces Their First Windows 8 Tablet

In January, during CES 2013, America’s best-selling TV Company announced their first Windows 8 tablet. Vizio’s first Windows 8 tablet has now finally made it to the market with $599 price tag. Since Vizio launched their first PCs about two years ago, so this is their first step into the tablet market.

Specifications for MT11X-A1

Vizio MT11X-A1 comes with 11.6″ (1920 x 1080) HD LED touchscreen. The device has 64GB on-board SSD storage and 2GB RAM. The 802.11 dual band WiFi allows it to easily connect with other devices like wireless keyboards. It’s dual speaker stereo sound is powered by SRS premium sound technology. It also has a 2MP front-facing camera and 5 hours of battery life. Weighing in at 1.80lbs, MT11X-A1 bundles Windows 8 with Microsoft signature, which means no third party apps. MT11X-A1 has graphics powered by the AMD’s Radeon HD 6250 on-board GPU. Vizio MT11X-A1 is available on Vizio’s website with free shipping.

There are no rumors that if company will introduce any Intel-based tablets. Neither is there any word if the company will launch, smaller seven or eight inch tablets.
