Microsoft is offering free 100GB OneDrive storage

Microsoft has been nothing but generous in giving away more and more OneDrive storage for free. Earlier, Microsoft offered that anybody with a smartphone could get additional 15GB of free OneDrive storage. All you had to do is install the OneDrive app onto your smartphone and sync your Camera Roll with it.

Microsoft is again offering 100GB of free OneDrive storage for its users. Only this time there is a catch, the 100GB of storage being offered is only valid for 2 years. After which you would either have to buy more OneDrive storage, move your data to another cloud storage or download all of it onto your PC. Still, something is better than nothing and let’s just hope that by than Microsoft either extends the offer or simply gives away the extra 100GB to everyone.

To claim your additional 100GB of OneDrive storage, do the following:

  1. Go to the Bing Rewards Dashboard.
  2. Log in or register if you don’t already have a Bing Rewards account.
  3. Signup for the OneDrive promotional newsletter to get the additional 100GB in your OneDrive.

What do you think about this free OneDrive storage offer from Microsoft? Will it convince you to switch to OneDrive or do you plan on sticking with your current cloud storage option? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
