HTC Grip is HTC’s very own fitness tracker

HTC didn’t only unveil the HTC One M9 at MWC15, they also revealed HTC Grip which is their very own fitness tracker. HTC Grip is the result of HTC’s partnership with Under Armour. It works flawlessly with the UA Record (iOS and Android) apps and is a fitness tracker targeted towards serious athletes. It is able to track your sleep as well as most of your  sports and exercise activities.

By the looks of it, HTC Grip is somewhat inspired by the Nike FuelBand’s design. It has a 8-inch mono flexible display which supports capacitive touch. There is a 8MB RAM and 16MBs of internal storage on-board the HTC’s new fitness tracker. With a battery of only 100mAh, it is able to last for about a 2.5 days without GPS and only 5 hours when GPS is tuned on. Not to forget, HTC’s fitness tracker is also water and dust resistant with the IP57 rating.

If you were planning to buy one, you might be disappointed since HTC Grip is a US-only product. Also it would be available later — sometime this spring — for around 199/- USD. Meanwhile, you can checkout more about it on the official HTC Grip webpage and expect that HTC — at some point — launches it globally as well.
