At their MWC15 press event in Barcelona, HTC has unveiled its latest and greatest iteration of the HTC One flagship, HTC One M9. Interestingly, HTC decided to stick with the original HTC One design with a few minor improvements based on user feedback.
As they say devil is in the details, you won’t notice the minor differences until you take a closer look. For starters, the new 20MP camera on the back of the HTC One M9 is larger as well as squar-ish in design. Also, since the HTC One M8 was quite slippery due to completely round edges, One M9 has that fixed. Talking about the dimensions of both the devices, there isn’t any noticeable change since HTC One M9 is only 3 grams lighter and 0.2 mm thicker than its predecessor.
Majority improvements in the new HTC One M9 are hidden under the hood. The new HTC flagship proudly features the new Octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor with a hefty 3 gigs RAM. As mentioned earlier, HTC One M9 has ditched the ultra-pixel camera for a 20 megapixel primary shooter. Still, a 4 ulta-pixel front camera would be available as well. Not to forget, Android Lollipop 5.0 and HTC Sense 7 would come bundled with the One M9.
