Huawei launched the Huawei Mate S in Pakistan

Almost after a week of it’s launch in Dubai, Huawei has finally launched the Huawei Mate S at a launch event held in Lahore. For those who don’t know, Huawei Mate S is successor to the Huwaei Mate 7 and has quite a few improvements. For starters, the Mate S now looks and feels quite slick and elegant. It now has a smaller screen — which is a welcome change — since it results in a smaller footprint making the Huawei Mate S easier to manage.

Although the Huawei Mate S has most of it’s feature brought over from the Mate 7 but one feature that makes it standout is it’s pressure sensitive display. Like Apple’s 3D touch, Huawei’s Force Touch technology enables you to perform various actions by simple putting extra pressure onto the display. For instance, you can zoom into images right from the grid view of your gallery using the Force Touch technology. Quite interestingly, due to Force Touch, it also can weigh small things — up to 500 miligrams — by simply placing them onto the Mate S.

Some other interesting features of the Huawei Mate S include it’s 2.5D Gorilla Glass display, 2.5mm diamond cut edges, the fingerprint sensor and a 13MP primary shooter with OIS. Not to forget, Huawei Mate S will have a 64-bit Octa-core Kirin 935 processor with 3GB of RAM. Starting at 67,999/- PKR, the Huawei Mate S would be available in 3 storage options: 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.
